Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is an infectious illness transmitted by air. Could be latent or provoke the illness with symptoms like persistent cough, chest pain and breathing difficulty, being the last one the most common. Africa provides the 30% of the new cases at a global level, with a mortality rate of 475 people for every 100.000 inhabitants. The symptomatology (fever, persistent cough and a general ill feeling) is presumptive of suspected diagnosis. The confirmation is made with laboratory test related to the concentration of bacilli in the sputum. Treated with specific antibiotics, although in many cases there are already antibiotic-resistant genes

Fundación Recover Collaboration

Fundación Recover provides suitable means for the diagnosis, define the risk areas of infection and access to effective antibiotics. The goal is to enable early diagnosis in vulnerable groups and enhance access to effective antibiotics to ensure a follow-up to monitor healing.
