{"id":10327,"date":"2025-06-30T10:27:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T08:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/?p=10327"},"modified":"2025-09-26T10:39:19","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T08:39:19","slug":"closing-ceremony-30th-congress-camfic-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/en\/clausura-30e-congres-camfic-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"The Recover Foundation closes the 30th CAMFiC Primary Care Congress with a talk on international cooperation in Africa."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The general director of Fundaci\u00f3n Recover, Marta Mara\u00f1\u00f3n Medina, was responsible for closing the 30th Congress of Primary Care of the CAMFiC \u2013 Catalan Society of Family and Community Medicine, held this Saturday, with the presentation <em>\u201cHealth without borders: opportunities for international cooperation in Africa for doctors and family doctors\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her intervention, Marta emphasized the value of the partnership with CAMFiC, which in 2024 selected Fundaci\u00f3n Recover in the competition for the allocation of 0.7% of the annual income of the Fundaci\u00f3 d\u2019Atenci\u00f3 Prim\u00e0ria. Thanks to this support, it has been possible <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/en\/how-we-work\/#campanassalud\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">implement the NUTRI-m program<\/mark><\/a> in three health centers in Cameroon, already benefiting more than 600 children in the fight against childhood malnutrition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to presenting the impact of this project and explaining the work of the foundation, the general director launched an invitation to family medicine doctors to <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/en\/become-volunteer\/#voluntariado-sanitario\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Joining as volunteers<\/mark><\/a>, Either online or in person, through the various collaboration channels that Fundaci\u00f3n Recover offers to healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the day, a draw was also held for two African backpacks purchased by CAMFiC, with the aim of encouraging participants to discover the experience of collaborating in Africa as volunteers with Recover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83e\udd1d At Fundaci\u00f3n Recover we thank CAMFiC and its president, Antoni Sis\u00f3-Almirall, for the trust and space they have given us to share our work and continue building alliances in favor of health in Africa.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The general director of Fundaci\u00f3n Recover, Marta Mara\u00f1\u00f3n, closed the congress with the presentation \u201cHealth without borders\u201d, in which she highlighted the value of the alliance with CAMFiC and encouraged family doctors and other medical professionals to join as volunteers in the foundation\u2019s projects.<\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":10328,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"give_campaign_id":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[11],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10327","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.3 -
