To bring medical care closer to those who need it most, Fundaci\u00f3n Recover continues to support, together with the Spanish Pediatric Association, the mobile clinics project of the Kounougo Medical Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Medical care near the most disadvantaged communities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"715\" src=\"https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Foto-Kumbo.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11260\" style=\"width:404px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Foto-Kumbo.jpg 800w, https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Foto-Kumbo-600x536.jpg 600w, https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Foto-Kumbo-300x268.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Foto-Kumbo-768x686.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fundacionrecover.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Foto-Kumbo-13x12.jpg 13w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mobile clinics bring different health services closer to the participating communities, with special attention to the needs of pregnant women, mothers, and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the services provided are prenatal and postnatal follow-up, ultrasounds, pediatric check-ups, and general medical consultations. Diagnostic tests, nutritional assessments, and activities to prevent and treat malaria are also performed, as well as health education sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program also includes the training of 15 community health agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new phase builds on the experience of the campaign developed between April and May 2026, during which 1,167 people were registered and 710 patients from five communities in the area were treated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The gratitude of the people who received care and the community health workers reflects the importance of this collaboration.
