The Recover Foundation participated in the XXXII National Congress of the Spanish Society of Pathological Anatomy (SEAP-IAP), held in San Sebastian, with the participation of its director, Marta Mara\u00f1\u00f3n Medina<\/mark><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the heading \"Health cooperation in Africa: the example of the Recover Foundation\".<\/em>Marta shared with the attendees the work model of the foundation, focused on strengthening health systems in Africa through sustainable and collaborative projects<\/mark><\/a>. During her intervention, the director shared the case of the anatomical pathology laboratory set up at Burund<\/mark>i<\/a>The project will highlight the importance of coordination with local actors, the design of an effective partnership ecosystem and the keys to ensuring the sustainability of health projects in vulnerable contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation was also supported by Dr. Ana Bel\u00e9n Enguita, pathologist at the Hospital 12 de Octubre and volunteer at the Recover Foundation, who acted as moderator of the conference. The congress was also attended by Cristina Rodrigo, manager of the foundation's International Training and Volunteering Programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to spaces such as this congress, international cooperation is also made visible in the medical and scientific sphere, putting the focus on sustainable solutions and equity in access to more dignified health care.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
