The awareness day on sickle cell disease, a condition affecting millions in Africa, was held in Cameroon on October 3rd, organised by Fundación Recover with the aim of promoting knowledge and proper management of this pathology in the country.
Marta Marañón, Director-General of Fundación Recover, was interviewed on the programme Africa Today from RTVE, where he explained the impact of this disease in Cameroon and the importance of educating the population about its prevention and treatment.
