For what purpose do we process your personal data?
To fulfil our foundational objective of access to quality healthcare with a future for everyone in sub-Saharan Africa, we process the data of our members, donors, volunteers, collaborators, interested parties and online shop customers for the following purposes:
– Manage the relationship with members, donors, volunteers, collaborators and stakeholders.
- To send information about RECOVER via SMS, telephone, post, e-mail, even when our relationship has ended, unless the interested party states otherwise; and to respond to requests for information.
- Promote financial collaboration with RECOVER, as well as other types of active participation.
- Encourage collaboration in RECOVER through the volunteer network.
- Coordinate participation in activities organised by or for the RECOVER volunteer network.
- Invite to acts or events organised by RECOVER.
– Carry out customer satisfaction surveys.
– Process purchases made in the online store, confirm orders, manage payment, issue invoices or receipts where applicable, prepare and deliver products, handle queries, manage returns, withdrawals, warranties, transport issues, complaints and necessary communications related to the purchase.

– Preventing fraud, abuse or misuse of the website and the online shop, as well as maintaining the security of the systems.

Data processing in the online shop
When you purchase products through the FUNDACION RECOVER online shop, we will process the personal data necessary to process the purchase, manage payment, prepare the delivery or collection, handle queries and incidents, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
The categories of data that we may process during the purchasing process are: email address; guest purchase status; selected delivery method, whether shipping or collection; delivery country or region, currently Spain; first and last name; company, if provided voluntarily; postal address, flat, room, staircase or other supplementary delivery details; postcode; city; province selected or indicated in the form, currently Madrid; telephone number, if provided voluntarily; indication of whether the same address is to be used for billing; purchased products; order number.

When payment is processed through Servired/RedSys, FUNDACION RECOVER will not access or store your full card details, which will be processed directly by the payment service provider. FUNDACION RECOVER may process the information necessary to confirm the payment status, reconcile the transaction, manage incidents, handle refunds and comply with its legal obligations.
