Ten years after a Spanish pilot met her at a market in Accra, Linda has been able to be diagnosed, treated and operated on at the Quirónsalud Pozuelo University Hospital thanks to the Pacientes de Recover program.

The so-called “medical deserts,” areas where the population has insufficient access to healthcare professionals and services, constitute a challenge for the systems.
