Light for South Sudan

In just ten days, the ophthalmological mission in South Sudan, led by Blanca García Sandoval (Community of Missionaries of Saint Paul the Apostle – Emalaikat Foundation) with the support of Fundación Recover, was able to treat 1,462 people and perform 228 surgical interventions.

An initiative that has returned sight — and hope — to hundreds of people in an area with enormous difficulties in accessing specialized healthcare services.
