In Yaoundé, alongside the local team, she treated 28 boys and girls with different conditions such as hernias, hydroceles, undescended testes, or severe burns. In this video, we see her operating on a 7-year-old boy with a surgery called orchiopexy (to treat an undescended testis, meaning a testis that had not descended into the scrotum).
Thanks to volunteers like her and the support of everyone who participated in the crowdfunding campaign, we can continue to drive access to dignified, quality healthcare for disadvantaged people in Africa.
