Raouf, a Cameroonian State-certified nurse and midwife, has just completed a one-month hospital rotation at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation (FJD) in Madrid, thanks to a specialization scholarship from Fundación Recover.

Raouf works in the maternity service of the Catholic Medicalized Center of Kueka, located in Foumban, in the Western region of Cameroon. During his stay at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation, he has rotated mainly in the Gynecology and Obstetrics and Neonatology services, where he was able to expand his knowledge and learn about other practices and working methods in the hospital environment.

This training experience represents a opportunity to continue developing their professional skills and apply the knowledge acquired in their daily work in Cameroon, especially in the care of women and newborns.

The Specialization scholarships from Fundación Recover They facilitate that healthcare professionals from the centers with which the organization collaborates can expand their training in Spanish hospitals. In this way, it contributes to development of their professional skills and the improvement of healthcare in their origin centers.
