The Spanish Private Healthcare Alliance (ASPE) and the Recover Foundation have renewed their collaboration agreement to give continuity to the NUTRI-m project in Benin, a pioneering initiative to tackle child malnutrition in sub-Saharan Africa. This second phase of collaboration consolidates the commitment of both entities to the universal right to health and decent medical care in particularly vulnerable regions.
In 2024, the Recover Foundation was able to care for 440 children aged between 6 and 59 months thanks to an initial donation of €7,000 from ASPE. By 2025, the private health employers' association will provide €4,000, a contribution that will enable nutritional monitoring and support to be provided to 143 children at risk of malnutrition in the Kpakpamè region in the south of the country.
