Thanks to the collaboration of those who bought their tickets, to the contributions to fila cero, and to the sponsoring companies, we have reached our goal and we will be able to help 1,000 women to prevent or treat cervical cancer in Cameroon.
At the start, Beatriz Jiménez Martín and Carolina Martinez Marqueño, representing the students of the 22nd edition of the EOI High Potential Women Management Development ProgrammeThey told why they decided to organise the concert and what they learned from the experience. "What we have learned is that when we are all rowing in the same direction everything works". said Beatriz Jiménez Martín, organiser.
Recover's general manager, Marta Marañón Medina, gave special thanks to the students for the initiative and to the main collaborating companies: Repsol, Sacyr Foundation, Aqualia and FCC Medio Ambienteas well as other companies that supported the concert: GADIS, Innovasur, Woomb Spain y Engie Spain. He also acknowledged the solidarity of the Soul Track band and of Jorge, the presenter, who offered their work and time altruistically. Finally, she presented the cervical cancer campaign to which the funds will be directed and said "Cervical cancer is preventable in 80%, so prevention and raising awareness among women for early diagnosis is essential"..
