The Kyrikú Foundation and the Recover Foundation are launching the first pathological anatomy laboratory in Burundi.
Ricardo Ruiz Rodríguez, a patron of the Kyrikú Foundation, director of the International Dermatology Clinic, and head of the Dermatology Service at Ruber Internacional Hospital, detected two neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) on his latest trip to the country, which could be treated, and even eradicated, thanks to this initiative.
