Marta Marañón, general director of Fundación Recover, Hospitals for Africa, recalls some alarming data regarding health in Africa, such as the lack of qualified personnel or the high rates of infant and maternal mortality that exist in countries such as Cameroon, Ivory Coast or Benin.
