About Recover:

Fundación Recover's mission is to strengthen the capacities of the health centres with which we collaborate, as well as their staff, so that, in a sustainable way, they can offer dignified and quality health care to people with few resources in Africa.
About the post: Management of the Health Centres Reinforcement programme, as well as the projects associated with it: infrastructure projects, equipment and hospital management.

  • Team in which it is integrated: Programmes
  • Reports to: Directorate General
  • Type of contract: indefinite full-time
  • Remuneration: according to the collective agreement for social action and intervention

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the implementation of programme projects and the internal and external accountability of projects and the programme.
  2. Ensure that the programme follows the strategic guidelines set by the Directorate General and establish synergies with other areas of the organisation.
  3. Rigorously assess the potential projects to be presented according to the funding opportunities that arise and which have been previously analysed as a team.
  4. Responsible for the design, formulation, monitoring, accountability, impact measurement and evaluation of programme projects, ensuring adequate technical (remote and field) and financial monitoring in a timely manner.
  5. Constant dialogue with the counterparts and the health centres in order to ensure proper monitoring and follow-up to ensure proper implementation of the projects, as well as adequate justification and accountability on the part of the counterpart.
  6. Support in managing the opening and closing (after defining an exit strategy) of relations with counterparties.

Candidate requirements:

  • Professional experience:
    - A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position is essential.
    - Experience in management and formulation of development cooperation projects, mainly in Africa.
    - Necessary knowledge of the Logical Framework
    - Experience in the field in a similar position is an asset
    - Knowledge of the health sector is desirable
  • Training:
    - Postgraduate training in Development Cooperation, Humanitarian Action or any other subject related to the field of our work will be an asset.
    - Training in Logical Framework, monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement.
    - Office package.
  • Languages: Spanish, French (high level) and English (high level).
  • Competences:
    - Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
    - Knowing how to work well in a team
    - Working in a coordinated manner
    - Ability to manage in a results-oriented manner
    - Proper time management
    - Ability to adapt to unforeseen events and handle stressful situations.
    - Resolution capacity
    - Enthusiasm and commitment to the mission of the foundation
