Fundación Sanitas is once again committed to health in Sub-Saharan Africa. During the month of June, we signed a collaboration agreement thanks to which we will carry out two projects in rural areas.
On the one hand, we will implement the "NUTRI-M" campaign, which aims to reduce infant mortality and improve the nutritional status of children in three health centres in Cameroon and Côte d'Ivoire.
It will also contribute to the improvement of equipment at the Catholic Health Centre in Bikop, Cameroon. We will purchase a viral load kit, essential to provide better diagnosis and monitoring of infectious diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis and Covid19.
Finally, Sanitas Hospitales has joined the programme "Telemedicine: health that connects", through the continuous accompaniment of African health personnel offered by specialists from Spain and other parts of the world who, on a voluntary basis, will provide remote assistance in the diagnosis of complex cases and provide training support.
The Recover Foundation would like to thank the Sanitas Foundation and Sanitas Hospitals for the effort, commitment and dedication they have shown to our organisation for some time now. Together, we can change the lives of thousands of people in Africa..
Thank you!
