The information you provide us with is confidential, and will only be disclosed in the cases described below and when we are requested to do so by a public or judicial administration or when it is necessary in any other case provided for by law.

What personal data do we process?
The data that we will process about you for the legitimate purposes explained below is as follows:

Where necessary by the nature of our relationship with you, we may process other data that you voluntarily provide to us:

We also inform you that we will process any additional data that you voluntarily provide to us during future relationships and interactions that you maintain with RECOVER, including data that you provide to us through social networks, platforms or applications. These data depend on your own privacy settings, use of the social network, platforms or applications, as well as the privacy policies of each social network, platform or application, so we recommend that you read them carefully before providing us with data through these social networks, platforms or applications.
On what legal basis will we process your data?
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- The execution of a contract with Recover Foundation, for contracting services, publishing advertisements and managing the services requested.
- Consent of the user in relation to contact, subscription to contents and the sending of commercial communications, via e-mail, cookies or messaging systems.
- Legitimate interest of the data controller to protect users of the Recover Foundation website from abuse and fraud in the use of our services.
For what purpose do we process your personal data?
In order to fulfil our founding objective, access to quality health care with a future for all people in Sub-Saharan Africa, we process the data of our members, donors, volunteers, collaborators and interested parties for the following information purposes:
- To send information about RECOVER via SMS, telephone, post, e-mail, even when our relationship has ended, unless the interested party states otherwise; and to respond to requests for information.
- Promote financial collaboration with RECOVER, as well as other types of active participation.
- Encourage collaboration in RECOVER through the volunteer network.
- Coordinate participation in activities organised by or for the RECOVER volunteer network.
- Invite to acts or events organised by RECOVER.
- Conduct satisfaction surveys.
- Basic profiling activities, based on the information you have directly provided to us, and aimed at ensuring the proper management of the above activities.
In addition, we also process your data for the purpose of sending, including by electronic means, promotional communications about activities, campaigns and initiatives of a similar nature to those in which you have previously participated.
The data subject may object to receiving such promotional communications, now or at any time, by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address dpo@fundacionrecover.org or by sending a request to the postal address of RECOVER.
Why may we process your personal data?
The processing of your personal data takes place as a consequence of your relationship with RECOVER as a member, donor, volunteer, collaborator or interested party, so we will process your data for the purposes of these procedures.
The processing of your personal data for the sending of promotional information about RECOVER activities, campaigns or initiatives similar to those in which you have participated is subject to your prior consent, which you may revoke at any time at dpo@fundacionrecover.org.
The processing of your personal data for the purpose of volunteering is required by the current regulations on volunteering.
When and for what reason may we provide your data to third parties?
We will never sell, rent or lease your personal data, except to Public Administrations for the fulfilment of the legal obligations to which RECOVER is subject by its activity.
How long will we keep your data for?
Your personal data will be kept for as long as your relationship with RECOVER is maintained, and even after the termination of this relationship for any reason during the statutory limitation periods that apply, if you do not inform us otherwise. In this case, they will be processed for the purpose of accrediting compliance with our legal and/or contractual obligations. We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary or permitted by the purposes for which it was collected. The criteria used to determine retention periods include our legal obligations, statistical needs or whether or not retention is advisable based on our legal position.

If you are a minor and use any of our websites or participate in any of our campaigns, please do not submit any personal information about yourself or your family to us without prior permission from your parent or guardian. There is a form for exercising your rightsYou can order it by email or if you prefer, you can use those drawn up by the Spanish Data Protection Agency or third parties.
These forms must be electronically signed or be accompanied by a photocopy of the ID card.
If you are represented by someone, you must attach a copy of your ID card, or it must be signed with your electronic signature.

DATA SECRECY AND SECURITY

REVOCABILITY
The consent given, both for the processing and for the transfer of the data of the interested parties, may be revoked at any time by communicating it to FUNDACIÓN RECOVER in the terms established in this Policy for the exercise of ARCO rights. This revocation shall in no case be retroactive.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Fundación Recover reserves the right to modify this policy to adapt it to new legislation or jurisprudence, as well as to industry practices. In such cases, it shall announce on this page the changes introduced reasonably in advance of their implementation.
