The general director of Fundación Recover, Marta Marañón Medina, was responsible for closing the 30th Congress of Primary Care of the CAMFiC – Catalan Society of Family and Community Medicine, held this Saturday, with the presentation “Health without borders: opportunities for international cooperation in Africa for doctors and family doctors”.

In her intervention, Marta emphasized the value of the partnership with CAMFiC, which in 2024 selected Fundación Recover in the competition for the allocation of 0.7% of the annual income of the Fundació d’Atenció Primària. Thanks to this support, it has been possible implement the NUTRI-m program in three health centers in Cameroon, already benefiting more than 600 children in the fight against childhood malnutrition.

In addition to presenting the impact of this project and explaining the work of the foundation, the general director launched an invitation to family medicine doctors to Joining as volunteers, Either online or in person, through the various collaboration channels that Fundación Recover offers to healthcare professionals.

During the day, a draw was also held for two African backpacks purchased by CAMFiC, with the aim of encouraging participants to discover the experience of collaborating in Africa as volunteers with Recover.
