Recover Foundation will hold next 18 September the fourth edition of their charity concert, an event already established on the foundation's calendar that will once again bring together the public in the Morocco Hall in Madrid (7 Marqués de Leganés Street) from 20:30. The event will feature a performance by Soul Track, the band that has accompanied Recover in all previous editions and that is once again putting its music at the service of a cause with a direct impact on the ground. The eight members of Soul Track will deploy all their energy to give rhythm to a repertoire full of soul classics.
The fundraising will go towards the purchase of portable ultrasound scanners which will be delivered to the healthcare centres with which Fundación Recover collaborates with the aim of carrying out proper pregnancy monitoring for thousands of women and, in this way, being able to prevent unnecessary deaths.
In many Sub-Saharan African countries, the maternal mortality rate per 100,000 live births is 442, compared to Spain, which drops to 3. In countries like Cameroon, infant mortality is 40 per 1,000 live births, compared to Spain, which stands at 2.4. This justifies the need to run antenatal health campaigns with the most vulnerable populations and communities.
