Fundación Recover has been selected as one of the winning organizations in the call IngenioSOS 2026, an initiative that It promotes innovative social projects with a positive impact on vulnerable groups.

The recognition represents an important support for Work that Fundación Recover develops together with hospitals and health centers in Africa to improve access to quality healthcare and strengthen the capacities of local healthcare professionals.

Thanks to this collaboration, Fundación Recover will be able to carry out the installation of a photovoltaic solar energy system in a hospital in the west of Cameroon. In the rural areas of the country, only 24% of the population has access to electricity, and the continuous outages at health centers compromise the preservation of vaccines and medicines and put the provision of healthcare at risk.
