Fundación Recover Collaboration

Fundación Recover supports low income patients in order to take their control analysis and facilitate the monitoring of the illness. This program mainly focus on low income patients, especially pregnant women, children who had suffered opportunistic illness and newborns in need of therapeutic milk instead of breastmilk. According with United nation Children´s Fund, the 33% of the VHI infections mother-child happens during breastfeeding, this is the reason why Recover has created the “milk substitution project” in partnership with San Martin de Porres Hospital in Yaundé, in order to avoid the vertical transmission mother-child of VHI.
