We took part in the "Solidarity in action" meeting of Fundación Sanitas

In June we took part in the "Solidaridad en acción" meeting, organised by Fundación Sanitas, a partner organisation of Fundación Recover since 2022.
Fundacion Sanitas Solidarity Meeting

Our Managing Director, Marta Marañón Medina, took part in the round table alongside Manuela Escorial García, Head of Quality and Clinical Innovation at SANITAS DENTAL, Delia García Moratilla, psychologist from the Health Promotion Service at SANITAS EMISIÓN, and Marisa Diaz, New Business and Corporate Partnerships specialist at UNICEF Spain.

During her speech, the director of Fundación Recover highlighted three essential aspects of the partnership with Fundación Sanitas:

It is a sustainable partnership over time; that is, it is designed for the long term.

2. They accompany health campaigns, which is unusual among corporate foundations, as they usually support more with infrastructure or equipment.

Specifically, they have supported the antenatal care campaign and, more recently, NUTRI-m, a pioneering programme we have designed to reduce child malnutrition in Africa, which has already reached 4,000 children, 700 of them thanks to the collaboration with the Sanitas Foundation.

3. It is a 360-degree alliance because they involve their staff in the Telemedicine programme.

At the event, hosted by the journalist Marta G. Novo, director of Hoy por hoy Madrid on Cadena SER, Yolanda Erburu and Iñaki Peralta were also present; respectively, general manager and chairman of Fundación Sanitas.

In addition to its partnership with us, Fundación Sanitas collaborates with Fundación Alentia, the Spanish Commission for Refugees (CEAR), UNICEF, the Spanish Red Cross, Fundación Cesare Scariolo, Fundación Jérôme Lejeune España, NGO Cesal, Fundación Real Madrid and Fundación MAPFRE.
